Noah's Pine wood Derby

Today Noah participated in his cub scout pine-wood derby race. Noah won his first three races and came in 2nd in the final. Noah's friend Alex came in first (pictured in the center). We are attaching a small video clip of the final race. Noah really enjoys getting ready for the pine-wood derby races. He and Brian worked till late the night before preparing.

Some much needed R&R

Over the past few months we have sensed the need to get away. This past weekend we were blessed to spend a few days in Breen, Colorado. We stayed in a beautiful cabin overlooking the lake with a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountains. It was such a welcomed break and we enjoyed our time together as a family.

Noah is promoted to Senior Webelo

Recently Noah's cub scout troop had an award ceremony. Noah has been very persistent working towards a variety of achievements and awards. Noah is a very motivated young man and has worked very hard. We are very pleased with his determination.

Mercy doing what she loves

As you may have noticed, Mercy loves to dress up. The more outfit changes in a day the better. Mercy was delighted to get matching pj's with her baby sister Sara. If you want to make Mercy's day you get her some new item of clothing or shoes. She would change all day long if she were able. The problem is there is usually a trail of clothing that accumulates from her numerous changes.

Sara continues to develop her own personality. She has two teeth with the third one almost through. She enjoys giving kisses, waving bye bye, and saying all done in sign when she is through with something. She is just recovering from a double ear infection but overall is a very pleasant little gal!
