Visiting with family in PA

Many of you who check this will notice many new pics. That is because we are taking advantage of reliable and faster innernet service. So sorry for the delays in updates, we hope to rectify our innernet situation soon.

We are really happy to be in PA and are enjoying the familiar views and time with family although we all agree that we don't miss the humidity of the east coast.

Spending some time in PA

Tuesday the 23rd we flew back to PA. The kids were quite excited and impatient. They huddled around our dvd player in the airport awaiting our call for boarding. We had an awesome flight, thanks to all who prayed for our travel.

Milestones

Noah recently made his first pie. He watched mom make a cherry pie from scratch with fresh picked cherries and decided he wanted to try. Mom gave some pointers but Noah did a great job and produced a beautiful, delicous pie.

Sara took her first two steps on mother's day but hadn't done much since then. This past week Sara got up in the middle of the room and decided to walk. She took as many as 5 steps at a time. She is certainly exploring her world in a new way, including climbing inside the kitchen drawers.

We lately have been enjoying walks near the river. It reminds us of back east and walking in the woods.

Recently we joined in a time of worship, native american style, on top of a local mesa. The view is beautiful and we enjoy our time of worship and fellowship.

Lydia's dance recital

Lydia got to dance in a recital while her cousins, aunt and uncle were here. She did a great job and received some flowers after the show.

The Klines come to visit

The Kline family came for a visit in May. We were able to spend time at the cabin with them but this time without snow. We had a great time and were so blessed by their visit. We thought we would share a couple shots of our time together

This April Rochelle's parents and brother were able to visit. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the mountains of Durango. We even got to play in the snow! We had a great visit!

Time sure does fly! Sara enjoyed her first piece of carrot cake and getting presents from her brothers and sisters.
